Synchronized barangay assembly to kick off in Palawan

In yesterday’s ‘Kapihan sa PIA’ session held at the PIA Office, PEO Compound, DILG-Palawan Provincial Director Mario Daquer announced that Palawan’s different barangays are set to conduct a synchronized barangay assembly on Saturday, March 25.
Daquer said the assembly will be an instrument for Palaweños to express their views and opinions on the situation in their barangays. “Sa pamamagitan din ng pagpupulong na ito ay maipaparating natin sa ating mga barangay officials ang mga nais nating iparating na mga problema,” Daquer said.
The said event will also cover discussions on the upcoming programs and projects in each barangay, as proposed by officials.
In an interview, Daquer encouraged Palaweños to join the said event to raise awareness and participation in the current events taking place in their respective barangays.
