Sangguniang Panlalawigan commends 2016 LET-Middle East topnotcher from Pangasinan

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan (PIA) – The Sangguniang Panlalawigan here approved a resolution on Monday congratulating a Pangasinense who topped the 2016 Licensure Examination for Teacher (LET)-Secondary administered in Middle East last September 16.

The resolution, authored by all members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan, commended Erik Hans Lamsen Sorio, for his exemplary achievement of passing the licensure exams as topnotcher and bringing honor and prestige to the province.

Sorio, son of Eduardo and Adalia Sorio, graduated cum laude with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Pangasinan and was employed as an associate professor at the College of Health Sciences in his alma mater for more than eight years right after his graduation in 2005.

The resolution said, in 2013, Sorio applied for a teaching job overseas and was fortunately hired as an assistant professor at the Center for Health Studies at the Prince Sultan Military Medical City in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where he works up to the present.

Sorio ranked fifth place out of the 74 secondary teachers who passed the Special Professional Licensure Board Examination with 200 examinees.

“The Sangguniang Panlalawigan joins the whole province in congratulating Erik Hans Lamsen Sorio, who has made all Pangasinenses proud for such feat,” the resolution read.
