SM to open second mall in Pangasinan

MANILA - SM Prime Holdings on Thursday said it would open its second mall in Pangasinan.

SM Urdaneta Central will start operations on Friday, SM Prime told the stock exchange. SM City Rosales is the first SM mall in the province.

"As Pangasinan is at the heartland of the Philippines and the gateway to Northern Luzon, SM is a committed partner in further building on this strategic and dynamic province through SM City Urdaneta Central," SM Prime president Jeffrey Lim said.

The group is set to open 5 malls in the provinces this year. SM Prime opened SM Center Imus in Cavite last February and will open SM City Telabastagan in Pampanga, SM City Legazpi in Albay and SM Center Ormoc in Leyte.
