QC scholars finish call competency course

QUEZON CITY, April 30 (PIA) – Some 225 scholars of Mayor Herbert Bautista’s technical scholarship grant successfully finished their Contact Center Competency Course.

The said course program is a project of Mayor Bautista who wanted the youth to acquire technical skills and help them get jobs in the fast-rising business process outsourcing industry.

The students were subjected to 120 hours of intensive skills training in the communication and technology course.

The Contact Center Competency Course program is an undertaking of the Quezon City Public Employment Services Office (PESO) in partnership with the Scholarship & Youth Development Program (SYDP) and the Quezon City Information and Communication Technology- Global Service Outsourcing Task Force (QC ICT-GSO).
