PNP builds 2 police headquarters in Zambo Sur

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur, May 31 (PNA) -– The Philippine National Police (PNP) is constructing two police headquarters worth PHP4,487,000 for the nearby towns of Kumalarang and San Miguel, this province.

Chief Supt. Miguel Antonio Jr., Police Regional Office-9 (PRO-9) director, on Monday led the groundbreaking, which signaled the start of the two projects.

Senior Supt. Michael Nicolas, police provincial director, provincial board member Ernesto Mondarte, who represented Gov. Antonio Cerilles, joined Antonio in the groundbreaking ceremony.

Antonio said the construction of the two police headquarters were among the 12 projects allotted for this province.

Antonio expressed gratitude to the local governments of Kumalarang and San Miguel for providing the land area, equipment and accessories as counterparts that led to the realization of the projects.

Antonio considered the groundbreaking ceremony of the two projects as memorable moment in his career since he is set to retire on Friday, June 3.
