ANGELES CITY- Some 201 government employees were conferred with respective loyalty service awards during a ceremony held Monday, March 12, at the Angeles City Legislative Building.
The awarding is part of the city’s Programs on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) implemented by the City Human Resource Management Office (HRMO).
According to HRM officer Elizabeth Lagman, the ceremony underscores the city’s appreciation to its government employees for their continuous, selfless and unrelenting service to the people of Angeles City.
The recognition is given to public servants (permanent and casual employees) who have continuously served the local government with at least ten years (without gap) and the succeeding 5 years thereafter.
The awardees were divided into three categories: Bronze Awardees (10 and 15 years in service), Silver Awardees (20-25 years in service), and Gold Awardees (30 years and above).
This year the city government awarded 125 bronze awardees, 32 silver awardees and 44 gold awardees. Each received a certificate of recognition and a loyalty pin.
Awardees under the bronze category received a cash incentive of P10,000 each, while those who are under the silver and gold categories received P5,000 from the local government.
In his speech, Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan lauded all the city government employees for their dedication and loyalty to the city.
“The city propelled to greater heights because all of you devoted yourselves toward our goals. All of you played a vital role to what the city has attained today and I salute you all for that,” Pamintuan added.
Joining the mayor during the awarding rites are Vice Mayor Bryan Matthew Nepomuceno, Councilors Amos Rivera, Alexander Indiongco, and Joseph “PG” Ponce, City Administrator Dennis Albert Pamintuan, AGENDA President Ed Sanchez and City Planning and Development Officer Ami Victoria Dacanay.
