LTO to release new vehicle plates today

The Land Transportation Office-9 (LTO-9) is expected to release today the new license plates for all four-wheel vehicles.

LTO-9 Assistant Regional Director Manuel L. Betaizar said that the distribution will be done in all LTO offices nationwide.

In Zamboanga, distribution will be made at the LTO-9 Registration Office at the Zamboanga Ecozone in Barangay Talisayan.

There was no information available on how many license plates will be delivered to the LTO-9 office in Zamboanga City.

The newly-delivered license plates will comprise the first batch to be released to Region 9 vehicle owners.

The LTO license plates to be delivered today are among 387,000 newly-desighed plate numbers manufactured for the months of July to October in the year 2016.
