DAGUPAN CITY (PIA) - The Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilpinas (KBP)-Pangasinan chapter will hold anew a sports festival for media practitioners dubbed as “KBP Sportsfest 2017.”

Mark Gemson Espinosa, chapter chairman, said this year’s event themed “Making friends, Building trust and Fostering camaraderie” is open to all legitimate media practitioners both in the broadcast and print industry from the province.

“Higit sa pakikipagtagisan ng galing sa sports, layunin ng aktibidad na pagyabungin at pagbukludin ang iba’t ibang miyembro ng organisasyon gayundin ang layunin na gawing mas matatag ang samahan ng media sa lalawigan ng Pangasinan,” Espinosa said.

He said the sportsfest, which is annually conducted by KBP-Pangasinan Chapter, will include sports game such as basketball and volleyball for men and women.

The activity will kick-off with a motorcade on June 17 starting from DZRD Sonshine Radio Compound passing through Arellano Street, AB Fernandez East Street, Downtown proper, Burgos Street, Perez Boulevard and corner of Rizal Street going to the Divine Word Academy of Dagupan (DWAD) Gym here.

Espinosa said the sports competition is scheduled on June 17 and 24.
