ANGELES CITY -- A property developer here said that Pampanga is now ready to become a housing hub considering the influx of investors including the entry of major players in the real estate and property development industry.

Wilfredo “Willy” Tan, president and chief executive officer of Hausland Development Corporation (HDC), said that a lot of big developers have acquired properties in the province.

“Before, iilan lang kaming developers but now there are lots of big players that already acquired properties here in Pampanga and we are looking forward that by 2016 and 2017 marami pong new projects that will opened in the province not only from Hausland and Fiesta but from big developers in Manila,” Tan said.

The Pampanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry Incorporated (PamCham) advocates the decongestion of Metro Manila, according to Tan.

With this, property developers in Manila are now investing in the province, he added.

“At PamCham, we always advocate that we have to decongest Manila and I think by this time players in Manila are already looking forward on investing in Pampanga which is very very good news for us,” the developer said.

Tan added that the province is “already ripe” for further development citing the presence of big industries in Clark including the business process outsourcing or BPOs.

“Pwede maging housing hub [ang Pampanga] because we have our industrial site here in Clark and I will not be surprise kung mas marakal la pa reng BPO at industries a dating,” Tan said.

HDC wants to be part of the growth of Pampanga and the same time committed to provide affordable and quality residences housing units to the Kapampangans and migrants in Pampanga.

“We hope we can contribute by way of making available housings that are very affordable on a well-planned community,” Tan said.
