DPWH submits list of completed infra projects in Oro

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – Some infrastructure projects undertaken by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in Cagayan de Oro have been completed.

This is based on the monthly status report of various construction projects submitted by the DPWH-2nd District Engineering Office to the Office of City Mayor Oscar Moreno copy furnished to the City Council committee on public works.

Shown in the report, as of February this year, the completed projects are the construction of Balubal National High School (NHS), Macasandig NHS and Agusan NHS.

The list includes the repair of multi-purpose buildings in barangays Consolacion, Camaman-an, Balubal, Bugo, Macasandig, Agusan, Tablon, Cugman, Macabalan, Barangays Nos. 5, 13, 15, 17, 18, 26 and 35 and the repair and maintenance of the Agusan River Control.

The rehabilitation of the drainage along Tin-ao, Agusan, Lapasan, Villa Ernesto, Gusa, along Julio Pacana, Puntod, Macabalan and the improvement of the DPWH building are also included in the list of completed projects.

According to the DPWH, the submission of the report is in line with the agency’s policy of close collaboration and coordination with local government units in the implementation of infrastructure projects in the region.
