CEBU, Philippines — To better understand the public, the Cebu provincial government will hold its first ever Human Resource Convention for elected officials and government workers.

"There is no venue for people managers of the Capitol to discuss on how to effectively harness their people management knowledge and skills,” said Bonifer Nacorda, head of the Provincial Human Resource Office.

Human resource, he said, drives organizational success.

“It’s the most vital instrument in achieving a strong and successful organization,” he said.

The convention seeks to help government officials and workers on how to handle their constituents and departments in the “most effective and efficient manner,” Nacorda said.

At least 200 participants are expected to attend the activity which will be held at the Capitol Social Hall on September 26. Freeman ( Article MRec ), pagematch: 1, sectionmatch:
