+TUBOD, Lanao del Norte, Nov. 14 (PIA) -- Ginebra didn’t need any miracle comeback or an overtime period to beat Shopinas.com. One brilliant quarter was more than enough.
+The league’s most popular ball club came through with a huge run in the 2nd quarter, and the Kings glided their way to a convincing 92-79 victory over the Clickers to spring back into the winning track in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Philippine Cup, here, Saturday night of Nov. 11.

+Well aware of the ability of Shopinas.com to pull off its very first win in the season-opening tournament, Ginebra tore the game apart by heavily outscoring the bottom-dwelling franchise, 33-13, in the 2nd period, and in the process collected its 4rth win in eight games while dealing Shopinas.com its 9th loss in a row.
+That blast the Kings unloaded turned a shaky 20-18 advantage to 53-31 at the halftime break.

+Willy Wilson scored 12 points and pulled down nine rebounds, Caneleta had 12 points, and Jay-Jay Helterbrand, fast re-discovering his touch from the long court, added 10 points for the Kings.
+RJ Jazul led the Clickers with 11 points while Dennis Daa and James Sena contributed 10 apiece.
-However, Simon and James Yap delivered the big baskets for the Llamados in the final frame to help their team rebound from an 84-78 loss to the Bolts last Oct. 15 as they improved to 4-4, just half-game behind Meralco’s 5-4 card.
+So miserable were the Clickers that they merely shot 35.8 percent from the field, converting just 29 of their 81 attempts. The Kings had a decent 43 percent clip on 33-of-76 shooting.
