The land area of Recodo is 176.67 hectares. It became a barangay by virtue of Commonwealth Act No. 39, s. 1937. | |||
Recodo is known as the Ship Building and Repair Barangay. If you own a basnig or any shipping vessel and you need repair services, you go to recodo. There are always at least a dozen ships dry docked in Recodo any day of the year. | |||
