Enter at Echo Canyon Parkway just east of Tatum Boulevard, from McDonald Drive. Parking is extremely limited at this trail head and wait time for a spot on weekends is substantial. | |||
This is a very strenuous trail recommended only for experienced hikers. The tail ascends through some spectacular sandstone rock formations and offers unparalleled views from the summit of Paradise Valley below and Phoenix beyond. The park is open sunrise to sunset. | |||
