A 30-year old overseas Filipino worker (OFW) in London was chosen from the 8,000 aspiring individuals to be a torchbearer at the 2012 London Olympics this coming July. | |||
Reymund "Apol" Enteria, whose family resides at Peace Village in Barangay San Luis, Antipolo, Rizal, was given the rare opportunity to carry the Olympic torch in London, where he is currently working as a therapist in one of the city's hospitals for more than four years now. | |||
Before going to London, Enteria was an active Sangguniang Kabataan leader in his hometown in Barangay San Luis in the pilgrimage city of Antipolo, Rizal. | |||
The | Rizal Governor Jun Ynares said that Enteria's feat was a great honor to Rizal province and the Filipino nation. | ||
