ILAGAN, Isabela- The local disaster officials, law enforcement agencies' and Isabelinos felt sigh of relief upon knowing that the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) has confirmed that the rocket launch of North Korea failed its mission.
Nestor Salvador, head secretariat of Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC), said the failed rocket launch of North Korea this morning has relieved the fear of Isabelinos most especially the residents in the four coastal towns of Isabela.
“We are thankful that the rocket launch has failed and we are now safe from any danger from the debris,” Salvador said.
Earlier, the PDRRMC had conducted an emergency meeting to prepare for any eventuality particularly concentrating on the four coastal towns of Isabela where there was have the probability of debris falling in the area.
The province now is back to normal situation upon clearance from NDRRMC.
