ILAGAN, Isabela- The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) 2 has allotted P8 million for labor, employment, and livelihood programs in the province this year. | |||
DOLE Isabela Information Officer Froctoso Agustin said the amount, which is P3 million higher than the previous year's allotment, will be spent for livelihood support fund of different women’s groups, transport groups and other sectors in Isabela, the local government's special program for the employment of students (SPES), and other assistance needed in relation to DOLE’s programs and projects. | |||
"The increase in allotment is not only for Isabela province but also in other provinces of the region to better serve the needy associations or groups in Cagayan Valley," Agustin said. | |||
Agustin said that this year DOLE 2 has allotted P6 million for the province of Cagayan, P3 million for Nueva Vizcaya, P2.3 million in Quirino, and P8 million for Isabela. | |||
