| RIZAL PROVINCE— All is set for the Holy Week rites that are set to kick off today in various pilgrimage sites in Luzon, with police and local government authorities ready with support services to the thousands of devout Catholics expected to join different religious activities.
| | Philippine National Police (PNP)-Antipolo City stated that 186 local officers as well as an augmentation of 111 additional personnel from the Hilltop Police Station will be dispatched within the vicinity of the Antipolo Church. PNP Region IV-A also dispatched three officers in training to give further assistance |

| In Antipolo City, the cathedral is preparing for up to a million pilgrims from different parts of Metro Manila and nearby provinces who are joining the “Alay Lakad” or penitential walk on Holy Thursday and Good Friday.
| | Officers will be assisting from 6:00 p.m. of April 5, Maundy Thursday to April 6, Good Friday, 9:00 a.m. with eight to 11 personnel per team to ensure public security, provide information, and to avoid cases of theft during the traditional Alay Lakad . |
