CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro, Jan. 14 (PIA) – The city government under Mayor Doy Leachon has implemented the program called Local Investment Fund for Employees (LIFE)that provides additional health care benefits for the city employees. | |||
The program, which is almost similar to the insurance program under the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, aims to give additional hospitalization benefits to regular employees who continuously serve the public. They were issued LIFE cards in addition to the PhilHealth and Orange cards (health card for Calapeños) provided by the city government. | |||
LIFE card is exclusive only to regular city employees who are deducted P50 monthly from their salary. | |||
