CAUAYAN CITY, Isabela- The Bureau of Immigration (BI) based in this premier city of Isabela has urged permanent residence foreigners in the province to report and settle their obligations to the provincial government to avoid monthly penalty and charges. | |||
Loreto Tumaliuan, Alien Control Officer of BI – Isabela, said aliens residing in the province are obliged to pay P310 for a year of stay in the country and their failure to pay on their annual dues would mean additional payment of P200 monthly as penalty. | |||
"There are registered more than one thousand aliens in the province who are holder of permanent residence visas and now residing and doing business within the province," Tumaliuan said. | |||
Tumaliuan said most of these aliens are Indian nationals who are doing business activity and some are residing in the province followed by Chinese, Americans, Germans, Mexicans and other foreign nationals who are already in the province. | |||
Tumaliuan said his office is monitoring the registered and permanent residence foreign nationals who are in the province and is maintaining data of foreigners who are in the province. | |||
The BI – Isabela is annually requiring permanent residence nationals who are in the province to pay the annual registration fee and advises them to regularly pay their obligation to avoid penalties and surcharges. | |||
