CABATUAN, Isabela– Starting this year, business establishment owners in this municipality are already required to produce waste segregation trash cans at their respective business establishments before they could renew their business permits. | |||
The local government unit of Cabatuan has made the policy in support to Republic Act 9003, otherwise known as Solid Waste Management Act of 2003. | |||
Mayor Cid Dayrit said under his watch, he would like to strictly implement the waste segregation program through requiring business establishment owners to minimize littering of wastes especially in public places. | |||
Dayrit has called on business establishment owners to follow the new policy of the locality in order to make the locality maintain its cleanliness even without any searches relative to cleanliness. | |||
He said cleanliness of a certain place is one of the barometer of tourists to come back to the place if they know that it is clean, peaceful and with tranquility. | |||
