CABARROGUIS, Quirino, Dec.29 (PIA) -- Around 24 personnel of the Department of Education here were recently feted in fitting rites during the annual Division Public School Teachers and Employees association convention and Teachers’ day celebration at Saguday, Quirino.
Among the recipients of ‘Most Outstanding’ awards were: Eduardo C. Escorpiso, Jr, Science supervisor; Regina Carbonel , secondary school principal; Sonia Pagbilao, elementary school principal); Fely Manuel, secondary school head teacher); Zosima Canilao, secondary school head teacher); Vic Emerson Danao, department head and Amelia Naval,elementary school head teacher.
Teachers Nerliza Domingcil, Erlito Madriaga, Eliza Marcelino and Josephine Salviejo were awarded as Outstanding Master Teachers.
Six secondary and elementary teachers namely, Noveline Tacata, Arnold Saballa, Vivian Cristobal, Vilma Matamis Irene Decena and Apolonio Butron; guidance counselors Eduardo Rios and Mary Mercy Bustillos were likewise awarded.
Instructors Rosalinda Edu and Ma. Luisa Cortes of Maddela Institute of Technology, Jesse Palacay of Saguday National High School and Filomena Molina of Maddela district were awarded as outstanding employee, instructors and retiree respectively.
Meanwhile, division Brigada Eskwela winners were also recognized. For small category, the winners were Mangandingay Elementary School (first); Dibul Elementary (second); Isidro Paredes Elementary (third).
For exceptional category, La Paz Elementary School (first); Aglipay East (second) and Big category, Aglipay West (first), Saguday Central (second) and Cabarroguis Central (third).
Under the secondary level, the winners are as follows: Small category, Cabarroguis National School of Arts and Trades (first); Dipintin High School (second) and Burgos National High School (third). Exceptional category, Saguday NHS (first) and Diffun HS (second) and under big category, Quirino General HS (first) and Maddela Comprehensive HS (second). (TCB/MCB/PIA 2)
