VIRAC, Catanduanes- A total of 500 Day Care Pupils from San Andres town here received an early Christmas present in forms of bags and school supplies from the Rotary Club of Parañaque East as part of their educational program last November 19, 2011 at San Andres Central Elementary School Gymnasium. | |||
Municipal Mayor Antonio Romano and Councilor Jonathan Joson were in attendance during the gift-giving which benefited 29 Day Care Centers in the said town. | |||
The program aims to help pupils especially those in remote barangays to improve their performance ast school. | |||
Rotary Club of Parañaque has been actively supporting series of medical missions in the province which already benefit 5,000 recipients. They are also providing medicines and medicinal supplies to local hospitals and other groups. | |||
The said gift-giving program is also in cooperation with the Congressional District Office under the leadership of Congressman Cesar V. Sarmiento of the Lone District of Catanduanes. | |||
