ILAGAN, Isabela- The province’ police chief has aired his intention to request from the higher authorities for the deployment of additional personnel in all police stations in the province to improve its service to Isabelinos. | |||
Newly-installed Isabela police chief Senior Superintendent Franklin Moises Mabanag aired his concern during his first command conference with all police station chiefs in the province last week where he also requested the accounting of all police personnel in all stations in the province. | |||
He said that the average personnel in police stations at present ranges from 15 to 20 police personnel only which is way below the desired ratio. | |||
At present there are 1,230 police personnel of the Isabela Police Provincial Office (IPPO) including the non-uniformed personnel inside the police camp while the total population of the province is now 1.4 million. | |||
Mabanag was installed as provincial director of the IPPO on November 3, 2011 replacing Senior Superintendent Jimmy U. Rivera who has served the province as IPPO chief for more than two years. | |||
