Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Cagayan, Santiago City with Ifugao will be joining the regional launching this morning and the orientation meeting to be held at 1:00 this afternoon at the Cua residence at Baro a Lubong, Mangandingay, this municipality.
“This is part of our preparation for the Million Volunteer Run on December 4 which will be held simultaneously in the entire country to mark the International Volunteer Day on December 5,” Leal said.
Leal added that the Million Volunteer Run will work in conjunction with “143 Red Cross,” a volunteer flagship program where the PRC trains 44 people in every barangay, one leader and 43 members, as disaster responders and providers of basic assistance such as first aid and psychological support.
The chapter administrator likewise urged all volunteers to join the activity stressing that the PRC is an organization whose operation depends on its volunteers. (TCB/PIA 2)
