ZAMBOANGA CITY (Updated 11:19 a.m.) -- Armed men believed to be members of a kidnap-for-ransom group (KFRG) seized a Filipina married to a Scottish national in Zamboanga Sibugay province, a military official said Monday. | |||
Lieutenant Colonel Randolph Cabangbang, Western Mindanao Command (Wesmincom) spokesman, said the incident took place around 7:20 p.m. Sunday in the village of Poblacion, Ipil town, the capital of Zamboanga Sibugay. | |||
Cabangbang identified the victim as Luisa Galvez Morrison, 34, the owner of RL Salon and a resident of Nizorecom Subdivision, Barangay Magdaup, Ipil. | |||
Cabangbang said the gunmen with the victim sped away on board a multicab. | |||
