CEBU CITY – The Department of Health in Central Visayas (DOH-7) will conduct a three-day house-to-house vaccination activity in towns and component cities of Cebu province to ramp up inoculation, especially of senior citizens. LAOAG CITY – The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) on Tuesday advised consumers and the general public to brace for a 12-hour scheduled power interruption on Thursday, affecting some parts of the province. In a public advisory, Jenny Afroilan, principal specialist of NGCP said the affected areas cover this city and the towns of Burgos, Piddig, Dingras, and Marcos from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. “The reason for the power interruption is due to the annual preventive maintenance and testing and corrective activities of equipment at the Laoag substation,” said Afroilan.

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY – The city has tallied zero coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases in private hospitals here as of Tuesday, a health official said. Dr. Ted Yu Jr., the City Health Office (CHO) medical officer, said the latest development came about following the increasing number of Covid-19 recoveries here. "Again, we have zero (active Covid-19 cases) from private hospitals. We would like to thank our private hospitals for accommodating and taking good care of our positive cases," Yu said.
