ZAMBOANGA CITY – The City Health Office (CHO) has recorded a recovery rate of 95.51 percent or 27,594 individuals who have recovered from coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) infection since the start of the health pandemic in March 2020. The CHO data showed the city recorded 28,890 cumulative cases of Covid-19 since the start of the pandemic two years ago until March 21, 2022, with 27,594 recoveries, 89 active cases, and 1,207 deaths. Also, 96.62 percent or 86 of the active cases were acquired through community transmission; the remaining three were detainees.
DAVAO CITY – Security forces in this city said they have arranged an observation period to assess the reopening of the popular Roxas Night Market on Thursday. The popular market was closed when the order for community quarantine in 2020 was released to control mass gathering amid the threats of coronavirus disease 2019.
