KORONADAL CITY - The Regional Civil Security Unit (RCSU-12) of the Police Regional Office (Soccsksargen) will set up a one-stop shop here for the License to Own and Possess Firearms (LTOPF) and its registration on January 28. Lt. Col. Charlie Vete, acting RCSU-12 head, said in a letter sent to Koronadal Mayor Eliordo Ogena that this is part of the PRO-12’s intensified campaign against loose firearms. The RCSU-12 is targeting to renew at least 18,000 firearm licenses in the caravan to be conducted at the gymnasium of Barangay Zone I here.
LAOAG CITY – The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) has recommended an extensive cleanup drive around Paoay Lake before its new waterpark "inflatable island" can be fully enjoyed by visitors. This was contained in the January 24, 2022 letter of the DENR Regional Executive Director Crizaldy Barcelo addressed to Ilocos Norte Gov. CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY - A total of 436 personnel of the Police Regional Office in Northern Mindanao (PRO-10), including other offices in the regional headquarters, have tested negative for drugs. MARIVELES, Bataan – The provincial government of Bataan on Thursday announced the opening of the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF) of the Mariveles District Hospital in the Freeport Area of Bataan here. Governor Albert Garcia said the 76-bed capacity TTMF located at the Standard Factory Building 13 hangar will cater to asymptomatic and mild cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).
