ZAMBOANGA CITY – The city health office (CHO) has extended the national vaccination drive here until Friday to cater to more residents. Maria Christine Lim, CHO health education and promotion officer, said Thursday the move was to encourage those who have yet to receive the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccines. “We extended the national vaccination drive. It is being conducted alongside the regular inoculation activity,” Lim said. Data from the CHO released showed that a total of 87,935 individuals received their Covid-19 vaccines during the first three days of the national vaccination drive.
TACLOBAN CITY – The Department of Social Welfare and Development has prepositioned 15,270 family food packs (FFPs) in Eastern Visayas for faster response especially during this typhoon season.
