SoKor firm to invest $1-M on tourism project in Clark

CLARK FREEPORT -- Another tourist destination would soon be established inside this Freeport as another Korean business group is set to infuse $1 million for its tourism-related project here, the Clark Development Corporation (CDC) said.

CDC Chairman and concurrent president Eliseo Santiago has recently signed with Punta LWA Properties Corporation, led by its president Seejoo Kim, a new tourism project that will be highlighted by a construction of an iconic hotel design by next year.

Punta will develop the 4,443.23-square meter former site of Mimosa Mart area along C.M. Recto Highway corner M.A. Roxas to operate a hotel, boutique, and villas, with amenities such as restaurant, coffee shop, cocktail lounges, boutique and wellness center.

The Korean firm would develop and operate the facilities for 25 years.

They also committed to provide employment of 50 for their operations and about 50 for the construction of the building.

The firm, which is also into architectural design and construction, has implemented several projects which include designed and constructed of the Publicis HQ in Paris, France. Punta also handled project management of Mercure Hotel, Hado Group HQ, Hado 7 -- all in Hanoi, Vietnam. It also handled foreign architecture coordination project for Lotte Jeju Art Villas.
