QUEZON CITY, 12 December (PIA)—The Quezon City government opens today (Saturday), the “Maginhawang Pasko Food & Art Hub Festival,” a gathering of foodies, artists, musicians, fashion and design aficionados.
Over 100 restaurants along Maginhawa and nearby streets will once again offer their best and delectably diverse menu to customers, guests and spectators expected to dine and celebrate with their family and friends.
On December 12, 2015 from 9 am to 12 MN, Maginhawa Street will be closed to traffic to allow visitors to enjoy the great food, vibrant music, exciting games and unique Christmas shopping experience.
A Christmas Decoration Contest will also be conducted among the establishments in Maginhawa Street that is expected light up the entire area.
There will be 320 participating exhibitors who pledged to offer special Christmas packages and promos at very affordable prices.
During the opening, there will be two sets of program along Maginhawa: one at the UP Village area and another at Malingap Street, which is a rising food strip itself. The length of Maginhawa Street, from Masaya St. to V. Luna Avenue, will be closed during the event. In the afternoon, there will be musical performances, Bingo games and karaoke contests and cosplay.
