NE, Angeles City institutions top Regional Eco-Friendly Schools Search

BACOLOR, Pampanga (PIA) -- Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) named Monday (December 18) two institutions in Nueva Ecija and Angeles City as the Regional Winners in the Search for Sustainable and Eco-Friendly Schools.
Cambitala Elementary School from Nueva Ecija topped the Primary Level while Francisco G. Nepomuceno Memorial High School from Angeles City placed first in the Secondary Level.
“We are organizing this event in the hope of encouraging schools in protecting the environment not only for the people of today, but for the future generations,” EMB Legal and Environmental Education Unit Chief Virgilio Edralin Licuan said.
The biennial activity is organized by EMB in partnership with Commission on Higher Education, Department of Education, Landbank of the Philippines, Nestle, MERALCO, and Smart.
