Zamboanga City Aerial View. The road (Nuñez) in the middle of the picture runs north/south. As you see the picture, the top of the picture is south. The first building on the left side of Nuñez road is a shell gas station. Behind it is the four corners gospel church. The four storey white building is the La Ciudad Hospital. Across the street from it and a bit to the right and still on Nuñez road is Alejandras. Farther south, the blue roof building is the multi-purpose building of the Ateneo de Zamboanga University and the white tall building about 45degrees to the right is the downton MindPro Mall. The island at the horizon is the Sta. Cruz Island.
The pond is now covered with tangkung and tilapia thrive in it. The locals harvest the tangkung regularly and sell it to the pucblic. This pond used to be a rice field.
