Tumaga River

July 2007. Picture was taken while standing on the bridge with the Tumaga Church to the left. The water is clean because it's the middle of the rainy season.

The government spent to money to build the cement embankment (wall) to keep the flood waters of the river from eroding the soil. This type of embankment runs of both sides of the river. It starts from the barangays of Pasonanca all the way down to estuary of Tugbugan close to 7 winding kilometers long.

It's everybody's concern

Preserving and protecting Tumaga River from any kinds of pollutants is everybody's concern.
