CDC locators to offer 8,000 job vacancies

CLARK FREEPORT -- The locators of Clark Development Corporation (CDC) will hold a job fair that will offer 8,000 job vacancies to job seekers, Rommel Narciso, CDC vice president for external affairs department, announced Monday.

With this, the CDC executive asked the support of Governor Lilia Pineda through the Provincial Employment Service Office (Peso) for the information dissemination effort up to the barangay level.

The job applicants will be hired on the spot during the jobs fair to be held on February 25, 2016 at Robinsons Place Events Center, Balibago Angeles City, starting from 8:30 a.m. up to 6:00 p.m.

More than 100 companies that offer employment and opportunities for all jobseekers will join the "Hired on the Spot Clark Job Fair 2016".

Narciso said that registration and skills training are free of charge with assured employment upon passing.

The job fair also offers free employment consultation from the Department of Labor and Employment (Dole) and pre-employment assistance from Social Security System (SSS), PhilHealth, Pag-Ibig and Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Narciso added.

In addition, an on-site photo booth is available for photo ID and professional linked profile picture for job applicants.

The job fair is open to all professionals, graduates, vocational graduates, undergraduates and high school graduates.

Raffle prizes will be given away to lucky job applicants.
