The Department of Public Works and Highways will launch another segment of the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Toll Expressway (TPLEX) this month, extending it to Pozorrubio, Pangasinan.

Public Works Secretary Mark Villar said the 10.10-kilometer segment from Binalonan to Pozorrubio will be opened to traffic on Dec. 6.

“The additional 10-km road will ease traffic and significantly reduce travel time from Tarlac to Pozorrubio from two hours and 30 minutes to just 45 minutes,” he said.

In a statement, Villar said the work for the said segment was almost complete.
