When these coconut trees are harvested, the climbers get to the top of the trees and cut out the mature nuts. When the coco-nuts fall, they just roll down the hill. The pickers then collect the nuts. | |||

And besides, there is no deliberate secondary cropping under the coconut farms which could have generated additional income It is therefore necessary to replace them (these coconuts) with the varieties introduced by PCA and practice inter-cropping to enhance productivity and overall profitability of the local (coconut) farming. |
