The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has special labeling requirements for dietary supplements and treats them as foods, not drugs. Manufacturers and distributors of dietary supplements and dietary ingredients are prohibited from marketing products that are adulterated or misbranded. That means that these firms are responsible for evaluating the safety and labeling of their products before marketing to ensure that they meet all the requirements of DSHEA and FDA regulations.

Wars of ancient history were about possessions, territory, power, control, family, betrayal, lover's quarrel, politics and sometimes religion. But we are in the Modern era and supposedly more educated and enlightened . Think about this. Don't just brush off these questions. Why is RELIGION still involved in WARS? Isn't religion supposed to be about PEACE? Ask yourself; What religion always campaign to have its religious laws be accepted as government laws, always involved in wars and consistently causing WARS, yet insists that it's a religion of peace? WHY?? There are only two kinds of people who teach tolerance: The Bullies. They want you to tolerate them so they can continue to maliciously deprive you. Do not believe these bullies teaching tolerance, saying that it’s the path to prevent hatred and prejudice. The victims who are waiting for the right moment to retaliate. They can’t win yet, so they tolerate.

Sarangani officials eye for PDAF’s new scheme

GENERAL SANTOS CITY, August 26 (PIA)--- Local executives in Sarangani have resolved to share a specific percentage as their counterparts to ensure success of projects implementation in the province. The scheme is believed to sustain the development and implementation of projects benefiting the people and helping them improve their quality of life. Isagani Palma, municipal information officer of Malungon told PIA General Santos City that the officials led by Sarangani Congressman Manny Pacquiao will release Php52-M fund allocation for socio-economic projects in the province by next year. According to him, the plan was threshed out in a meeting among Pacquiao, Governor Migs Dominguez, and the League of Mayors in the Philippines (LMP)-Sarangani Chapter, where the amount of fund to be released was unanimously agreed including the new scheme for funding projects under the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF). Pacquiao through the congressional office will share under his PDAF Php40-M or 70 percent of the total agreed fund while Php8-M or 20 percent will come from the provincial government and the remaining Php4-M or 10 percent will be shouldered by the municipalities. He also committed the release of another Php7-M to sustain the health services in Sarangani. But Pacquiao said this will only be realized if each municipal government will pledge to undertake a “weekly medical outreach” to serve indigents living in distant barangays. Sarangani has seven municipalities. Meanwhile, Malungon Mayor Reynaldo Constatino, LMP Sarangani Chapter president, said the PDAF’s new scheme has undergone consensus among mayors after Dominguez and Pacquiao extended a unifying hands to each other early this year. Palma said “PDAF serves as source of fund by small-scale but significant projects which cannot be included in large-scale projects that are being funded by the national-led agencies.” (CTA/PIA General Santos City)
