CDO to put up sports training complex in Brgy Lumbia

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, October 25 – The city government of Cagayan de Oro targets to build a sports training complex in Barangay Lumbia with the aim to help the city as well as the whole region to advance in the Palarong Pambansa.

Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Oscar S. Moreno said that it is just right to give attention to sports development since this is one of the ways to develop the character value of the youth.

He also added that it is important to inculcate sportsmanship at an early age because this will mold the youth’s character that they will carry on when they get old.

Giving a priority to education is one of the goals of the current administration.
