LISTED Philippine Seven Corporation (PSC) announced that it would have established 200 7-Eleven stores within three years in Mindanao as it formally opened its fourth store in Cagayan de Oro City on Saturday, October 23, the 1,500th store in the country.

Jose Victor Paterno, PSC president and CEO, said that Cagayan de Oro as a dynamic city with an increasing per capita income and tourist arrivals in recent years has been considered to be part of PSC’s planned expansion after Davao City where it opened its first store in May this year.

He said that five more stores will be opened in the city in the near future, and PSC would further expand bringing the 7-Eleven brand of retail experience to Iligan City and Bukidnon before the yearend.

“CdeO is the second city where we realized our expansion after Davao in May this year. And we see a lot of market potentials that we are finalizing plans for five more stores to be located here,” Paterno said.

PSC started its expansion outside Luzon in 2012 in Cebu, 2013 in Bacolod and 2014 in Iloilo.

PSC said that Cagayan de Oro residents can now enjoy their unique offerings such as the iconic Slurpee and other convenient alternatives like Gulp, the newest honest- to- goodness coffee City Blends, Fundae soft-serve ice cream, Big Bite Hotdog, siopao and a lot more.

7-Eleven customers can also experience CliQQ a load and bills payment kiosk.

“Our business operations focus on meeting the needs of busy shoppers by providing a broad selection of fresh, high quality products and services at everyday fair prices, along with speedy transactions aid a clean, safe and friendly shopping environment,” PSC said.
