MAASIN CITY, Southern Leyte, Feb | MAASIN CITY, Southern Leyte, Feb. 15 (PIA) -- The Office of Civil Defense (OCD) conducted a hazard mapping orientation in 14 barangays in the municipality of Libagon to enhance knowledge on disaster-risk and vulnerabilities in their areas.
“At least 14 barangay chairmen from the 14 municipalities of Libagon attended the one-day hazard mapping orientation,” Civil Defense officer Marichu Tan disclosed to PIA-Maasin. It was also participated by the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (MDRRMC) members headed by Libagon Mayor Oliver Ranque, she added.
