MANILA, Philippines—An alleged New People’s Army member was killed by in an encounter with military troops in Sarangani province Monday morning, an Armed Forces of the Philippines Eastern Mindanao Command spokesman said. | |||
Colonel Leopoldo Galon said that the still unidentified enemy was killed after military troops engaged roughly 20 armed suspected rebels in a firefight at Sitio (sub-village) Kaniyogan, Tamban village, Malungon town in Sarangani at around 10:30 a.m. | |||
