ILOILO CITY – The Philippine Postal Corporation (PhlPost) has delivered 193,823 national identification cards to residents in the province and city of Iloilo who registered for the Philippine ID System (PhilSys). From May to Nov. 5, 2021, PhlPost has received 263, 715 Philippine IDs for delivery, as per the latest data generated by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). Iloilo Provincial Statistics Officer Nelida C. Amolar, in an interview Wednesday, said the IDs are delivered to their residence, with low–income families who registered last year and earlier this year as priorities.
SULTAN KUDARAT, Maguindanao – Police authorities here arrested one of their colleagues, who is a high-value target drug personality, during an entrapment operation in Cotabato City on Saturday night. CEBU CITY – The Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) on Wednesday urged parents here to follow President Rodrigo Duterte's order not to bring children aged 11 years old and below to public places. In a presser, Lt. Col. Wilbert Parilla, Cebu City Police Office deputy director for operations, said they are bent on implementing the presidential directive to help sustain the gains in the fight against coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).
