The Agriculture Department located in the Valley offer many services and products to the public. Their hours of operation are Monday to Friday 8 am - 12 pm and 1 pm to 3:45 pm.

:Plant Import/Export Requirements

Import Permit Requirements for Plants
No visible signs of pests or diseases.
Photosanitary Certificate from exporting country.
Inform the department in advance of date of arrival of consignment as well as port of arrival.
Name and address of importer.
Quantity and name of plant(s).
Country of origin.
Photosanitary Certificate
Name and address of exporter.
Name and address of consignee.
Number and description of packages, weight.
Distinguishing marks.
Where grown.
Means of conveyance.
Point and place of entry.
Quantity and name of produce.

:Pet Import/Export Requirements

Import Permit Requirements for Pets
Name of person(s) traveling with pet.
Country of origin.
Breed of dog (eg Rottweiler)
An original Health Certificate issued by a vet in country of origin stating that animal should be free of any infectious or contagious diseases and should not be in contact with any animal suffering from the same for the past sixty (60) days.
Animal must be vaccinated against rabies more than one(1) month but less than one (1) year before the date of importation.
Permit is only valid for one (1) month.
Export Permit Requirements for Pets
Name of person(s) traveling with pet.
Type of animal(s) to be exported.
Animal(s) should be free of any infectious or contagious diseases, and should not be in contact with any animal(s) suffering from the same for the past sixty (60) days .
Permit is only valid for one (1) month.
