This image of Christ is owned by the Carpio's for many years and is handed down from one generation to the other.

The Santo Sepulcro or the Dead Christ, this image is inside a black glass coffin with thirteen yellow candles on both sides, is carried on the shoulders of the devotees, is owned by the Carpio Clan. This image of the Carpios is one of the oldest images in the procession that starts from the family's Patriach, Eladio M. Carpio, my maternal great great grandfather.
