Polygamy is not allowed in the United States of America. In fact back then, the Mormon Utah Territory was denied membership into the United States of America because the Mormons advocated POLYGAMY. When finally the Mormons dropped the advocacy of polygamy they were accepted into the union in 1896. They first tried in 1849 but were constantly denied. Six(6) times they were denied until Utah delegates wrote a new constitution that prohibited polygamy.

So why oh why does the USA allow Muslims to immigrate into the USA? Sharia law dictates the lives of all Muslims. Sharia Law upholds and advocates polygamy. They are not Muslims unless they follow Sharia law.

Muslim men are allowed to practice polygamy by their religious law (Sharia). The laws of the USA is very specific: "Aliens who are polygamists or who practice polygamy or advocate the practice of polygamy" will be considered as "undesirable aliens" and won't be allowed in the USA.

The Muslim men and women uphold Sharia law over and above the laws of any country. Sharia law upholds polygamy. Muslims should not be allowed into the USA unless they delete that "polygamy" from their Sharia Law. Now we all know that they will never do that. So until then: NO MUSLIM IMMIGRANTS INTO THE USA.

We have the freedom of religion. But our government comes first before religion.

For the sake of discussion: A Muslim man born and raised in the USA may not believe in Polygamy so he made a personal choice to condemn that part of Sharia Law. But for those Muslim men coming from Syria or Turkey or any other Islamic countries as refugees, most if not all uphold Polygamy. Unless they condemn that part of sharia and in WRITING for accountability, they should not be allowed in the country.

"Immigration Form: I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status" has a loophole! Specifically: Part 8. General Eligibiltiy and Inadmissibiltiy Grounds, Miscellaneous Conduct #74 where it ask this question:
"Do you plan to practice polygamy in the United States?" [Yes] or [No]

This immigration question is a loophole for those who advocate polygamy to come in to the USA. The question simply asks the applicant if he/she "plan to practice polygamy in the USA". The question does not follow the (McCarran–Walter Act) Immigration Public Law 414 of June 27, 1952.

The question in the immigration form I-485 Part 8. General Eligibiltiy and Inadmissibiltiy Grounds, Miscellaneous Conduct #74 avoids asking the applicant about the "advocacy of polygamy".

Title II, chapter 2, section 212, sub (a), part (11) specifically states: "Aliens who are polygamists or who practice polygamy or advocate the practice of polygamy" But I-485 Part 8. General Eligibiltiy and Inadmissibiltiy Grounds, Miscellaneous Conduct #74 simply asks "Do you plan to practice polygamy in the United States?"

The issue of "advocacy" was avoided, which is actually the most important part of the law. The omission of the words "advocate the practice of polygamy" in the question, is a violation of the (McCarran–Walter Act) immigration public law 414 of June 27, 1952.

Part 8 question #74 should be changed to read as follows: "Do you practice, plan to practice, or advocate the practice of polygamy; and does your religious belief or ideology advocate the practice of polygamy?" [YES] or [NO]

Why add "Does your religious belief or ideology advocate the practice of polygamy?" Because, this addition is for specificity and for the avoidance of loopholes.

Let me cite an example about specificity: Part 8 question #57 of I-485 is very specific. It asks:

"During the period from March 23, 1933 to May 8, 1945, did you ever order, incite, assist, or otherwise participate in the persecution of any person because of race, religion, national origin, or political opinion, in association with either the Nazi Government of Germany or any organization or government associated or allied with the Nazi Government of Germany?"

Part 8 question #57 of I-485 is very specific, why can’t part 8 #74 be specific too? Why is the immigration department protective of polygamous people or the religion that advocates polygamy?
