CEBU CITY, 15 July (PIA) – The Parole and Probation Administration (PPA) 7 under the Department of Justice will celebrate its 40th Anniversary on July 18.

Parole and Probation Officer I Rachell Lisondra during the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) and Association of Government Information Officers (AGIO-7) Forum invited the public to join the kick-off activity which is a Fun Run on Monday, July 18 at the Cebu City Sports Complex, 5:30 in the morning.

It will be attended by the Cebu City Parole and Probation Offices 1 and 2, Mandaue and Talisay Parole and Probation Offices, and the Regional Office.

Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña and Cebu Governor Hilario Davide are also invited to join the activity.

Personnel from BJMP and Criminal Justice System will also participate in the event.

Volunteers who are part of their rehabilitation program will also be there to join the run.

There will be games during the activity and the event is for free.

“The event will just take place inside the Cebu City Sports Complex since there is a City ordinance that nobody is allowed to conduct Fun Run activity during weekdays,” said Lisondra.
