Since 1997, Zamboanga.com used the "Z" as its brand and mark. However, we do not claim any trademark or copyright to the letter "Z". The Z-Wiki format simply followed what we have started when we named categories such as: Z-Stores, Z-Wiki, Z-News, Z-Mall, Z-Weather, Z-Community, Z-Guests, Z-Beaches, Z-World, Z-History, Z-etc. The name Z-Wiki is not an infringement. We are simply continuing the tradition in naming the things that we do.

    • The editor of z-wiki wants to thank everybody for the enormous positive response to this new z-wiki format. We were expecting about 5 new registered users per month within the first 4 months. We installed Z-Wiki in March 3, 2009 and today we have 71 users. That is way beyond our expectation. Again thank you for making z-wiki a success.
    • How about that?! As of 8/03/09, Z-Wiki has 105 registered users. Now, Z-Wiki is getting an average of 30 registered users per month - thanks! Keep the momentum going for Z-Wiki.

The 4th of July 2009 was a joyful and peaceful day celebrating USA's 233rd indepence day.

  • Z-Wiki Bisaya was born on July 14, 2009

We are looking for editors to make the zwiki bisaya online dictionary a successful collaborative process to keep the Bisaya languages of Cebuano, Ilonggo, and Waray-Waray alive for years to come. Most of the spoken bisaya dialects are now mixed with english and tagalog words.
