Independence day of the Philippines is JULY 4 not June 12.

June 12 is only pretend independence day.

The true Philippine indepence day is July 4th.

Even the administration of the Philippines do not celebrate the the 12th day of June as the indepence day.
The filipino people only look at the day as a source of "day off".

The key word is "source" because the government workers work on June 12 and take the day off on a MONDAY or FRIDAY.
Yes it is just a source of a day off because they all want a 3 day week end.

They are now teaching the new generation not to respect the supposedly day of independence.
